The Hope Community actually began over 25 years ago as a group of over 90 businessmen calling themselves "The United Network Association". This group decided to start bringing hope to people in need.
They kept their eyes and ears open in their communities and when an opportunity to meet a need caught someone's attention, the rest of the group was notified and a decision was made as to how they could help. Maybe a wheelchair was purchased for a young boy, or a car was bought for a single mom who needed to get back and forth to work. Whatever the need, the help usually came anonymously. This group did not want to bring attention to themselves, they just wanted to help their communities.
Over time, as these men got older, it was decided that if these good deeds were to continue after each of them passed on, it needed to be made public. Not for recognition, but so others could see their good works and be inspired to get involved themselves. In recent years the name you now know, The Hope Community, emerged as the title of the organization, with the same values, principles, and burning desire to help as always.
